For over 16 years P3 has had a rich history in guiding, educating and developing interns. Previous applicants who haven’t stayed with P3 have gone on to work in the NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA, English Premier League or to pursue careers within the field of sports science research across the globe.

P3 Atlanta Performance Specialist Internship:

Duration of Internship: 3 months

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Kinesiology (or related subject).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Training and Athletic background preferred.
  • Masters degree and/or certification (CSCS, ASCC, ASCA)- these are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • 30-40 hours/week for the duration of 3 months.
  • Support in the coaching of P3 athletes.
  • Data entry.
  • Attendance of weekly intern professional development meetings.
  • Develop, conduct and present novel research to P3 staff upon completion of the internship.
  • Assist with administration and maintenance of facility.

This internship is heavily weighted towards the art and science of coaching. If you are not passionate about coaching athletes do not apply!

Compensation: All interns will be offered a monthly stipend to help towards living costs.
