Eric has had an enduring interest in studying the science behind athleticism. As an undergraduate at Stanford University, he helped conduct research on the impact of emerging technologies on strength gains in athletes and later went on to major in Biomechanical Engineering. Since joining the P3 team in 2012, Eric has primarily worked with sports science applications with a focus on training and biomechanical assessments of our professional athletes. In 2014, Eric was promoted to Director of Biomechanics at P3 and has led our assessment and research initiatives utilizing force plates and 3D motion capture technology. Eric oversees a team of biomechanical engineers at both P3 locations. Eric recently earned a Master of Science in Data Science at Columbia University and is leading P3’s data analytics efforts to develop new insight into athletic performance and injury mechanisms.
